Mandatory

Use this section to set up the mandatory rule and to enable students to register for mandatory classes.

Fields	Descriptions
Mandatory Rule Key	Value used to identify mandatory courses. Enter a key such as `MANDATORY`. When this field is blank, only independent courses listed in the area requirements are considered as mandatory
Mandatory Active	Select the check box when you want to make mandatory classes available to students for registration. If you do not select the check box, students will see the available classes, but will not be able to add them to their schedule.
